Species-tree inference from gene trees

Infer a species tree from gene trees with ASTRAL

ASTRAL combines gene trees from multiple loci into a species tree while accounting for disagreement among the individual gene trees. It is used when separate loci have already been analyzed and their gene trees need to be summarized as a species-level history. Phylomena accepts one or more gene-tree files, with an optional mapping of samples to species, and produces a species-tree file. The workflow supports species-tree inference and scoring, bootstrap replicates, branch annotations, and outgroup selection. Phylomena records the selected settings, command, inputs, and result for reproducibility.
